To help support patients and their healthcare needs over the Easter period, the surgery will now be open on Good Friday and Easter Monday between 8am and 6pm.
Our dispensary will also be open for the collection of pre-ordered repeat prescriptions.

In the first instance people can visit the SNDC website or contact the community Help Hub. SNDC also can issue hardship grants for people who may be in financial difficulties due to losing their job or income because of the pandemic. Every household should have received a letter from South Norfolk Council which provides contact details. Learnyay helps adults find free education courses and training, by connecting them with ESFA and local authority funded colleges, schools and training providers in their area.
With many people furloughed and self-isolating, they feel it’s more important than ever to raise awareness about free education courses and training.
They are encouraging home learning to help people make the most of their time and cope better with self-isolation. It should also improve their employment prospects at a time when many jobs are at risk.

We are delivering to those regular customers that are unable to leave their homes and have no other support options. However, please note that we are inundated with orders and would appreciate orders picked up where possible, or a family member or friend completing your shopping for you.

Last week a good number of our residents stood and clapped and cheered from their doorways to show their appreciation for the NHS staff and carers who have been working tirelessly during the Covid-19 pandemic.
This amazing show of public thanks is being repeated this evening at 8.00pm and on forthcoming Thursdays.

Norwich Best for Pets has been busy working with Norwich City Council and Voluntary Norfolk as part of the Covid-19 Community Response, setting-up help for Norfolk pet owners who are self-isolating or social-distancing. We now have a list of registered volunteers who are able to walk/transport to vets/foster etc. Our first volunteers are out already helping an elderly gentleman (who is self-isolating because of health issues) and his gorgeous lab (update: one of our walkers will now be fostering the dog because the gentleman has gone into respite). We appreciate key workers may be working long hours or have relatives who need help so if we can help YOU it would be our privilege. Friends, family, carers and neighbours are asked to spread the word to ensure everyone is aware of this scam and what they should do.
We have completed the first week under movement restrictions, and staying at home regulations.
The “NHS Clap” was supported in both villages and personally I found it very moving.
The emergency team volunteers have been busy supporting many vulnerable residents. The most requested help last week was for collecting medicines. Also there have been requests for shopping, availability thankfully has improved and we have been able to buy the majority of requests.

Get coronavirus support as an extremely vulnerable person
Register if you have a medical condition that makes you extremely vulnerable to coronavirus. For example, you’ll be able to ask for help getting deliveries of essential supplies like food.
